It has emerged that Kanye West’s upcoming album Cruel Winter, a follow up to 2012’s Cruel Summer, is all rumours, according to one of his G.O.O.D. Music label artists.
US rapper Common, signed to West’s label, has confirmed that the talks about the new album were just rumours as all members of the crew are focusing on solo material.

Common told Vulture, “Oh, yeah, nah, nah. I don’t think that’s happening, It was more of a rumour – cats been creating, but everybody’s been doing their solo album. So that’s what that is.”
This news contradicts Big Sean, who at the end of last year, confirmed a new Kanye album.
He told DJ Semtex: “Oh God. Swerve. Yeah, you’re gonna get it. You gotta wait and see man, I don’t know. It can’t be Cruel Spring. It’s gotta be in a timely fashion.
“I know I did something for it, for Cruel Winter, and I was like ‘Godammit, I need to cut this for my album because it’s really good’.”
The rap megastar’s most recent project Cruel Summer released in September 2012, reached number two on the US Billboard 200 chart and on the UK compilations chart. <!– End Vibrant intelliTXT –>
