Kris Humphries’ lawyers are reportedly watching the Kardashian family’s reality shows in a bid to gather information for estranged wife Kim Kardashian’s pending divorce deposition.
Reality star Kim ended her relationship with basketball player Kris in 2011 after just 72 days of marriage and the pair is at odds as Kris is calling for the marriage to be annulled while Kim is happy to settle for divorce.
In a bid to secure an annulment Kris is suing Kim because he believes she committed fraud by marrying him as he thinks she only did so for publicity.
And it seems Kris’ legal team are tuning in to popular E! show Keeping Up With the Kardashians and spin off shows including Kourtney & Kim Take New York in a bid to gather information for their case.
A source told RadarOnline: “Kris’ divorce attorneys, including Lee Hutton, and his staff of paralegals, faithfully watch the Kardashian reality shows so they will leave no stone unturned when she is questioned at her upcoming deposition.
“The deposition will take place in the next several months, and it has been postponed several times because of scheduling issues on both sides. The delays are benefiting Kris’ team because it just gives them more ammunition for their case.
“You have Khloe whining to Kim on the current season of yet another Kardashian reality show airing on E!, about how long the divorce is taking and saying that Kris doesn’t talk, but barks like a dog.
“Kris believes that Kim and her family are using their reality show to tarnish his name.”
The athlete, who is deeply religious, is said to want to have the marriage annulled so he can marry in a church in the future with a clear conscience.
The sportsman has reportedly turned down an offer of a £6.3 million divorce settlement from Kim.
It is thought that Kim, who is currently pregnant with her rapper boyfriend Kanye West’s baby, will give birth to her first child later this year while still married to Kris as proceedings become further drawn out. <!– End Vibrant intelliTXT –>
