Do you think Kim Kardashian would have gone through with her sham wedding had she known the divorce would not only out-last the nuptials but also threaten to destroy her kimpire? Probably not, but who knows with these fame whores!
In the latest element of the divorce saga plaguing Kim, future ex-husband Kris Humphries is refusing to back down in his quest to expose Kimmie Kakes and her family for the frauds they are. Kris’ lawyers are petitioning to depose Kim on camera – which she is opposed to. I know, Kim opposed to being on film? There’s a first time for everything! Now the ex-couple is also fighting over Kim’s $2M engagement ring. See, Kris wants it back and Kim wants to keep it.
“Kris wants the ring back because the marriage only lasted 72 days and he believes it was based on fraud and deceit. Remember, Kim filed for divorce. Kris paid for that ring, and he just can’t fathom why Kim would want to keep it,” a source close to the exes tells RadarOnline. “It’s not like she is ever going to wear it again. Kris realizes that with Kim it’s all about material objects and she truly treasures things over people in her life.”
Additionally Kim is trying to get out of setting dates for her upcoming divorce trial, claiming she’s too busy with her job. What job you may ask? Filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians, of course! “Dates for the upcoming deposition are being discussed between the lawyers, and of course, Kris’ team is being told that Kim is extremely busy with shooting for the upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” the source reports. “Kris suggested that Kim bring her camera crew along to the deposition, then, problem solved!”
Although Kim is accusing Kris of stalling the divorce proceedings, Kris’ camp claims that couldn’t be farther from the truth – they just want a rock solid case against the reality hoegul. And in order to do so they are demanding unedited footage from reality shows both Kim and Kris were a part of – including Kourtney & Kim Take New Yorkand KKUWTK!
“Kris’ team wants the unedited tapes because they think it will prove how fake the shows are,” an insider reveals to WetPaint. “People are constantly fed their lines, scenes are staged, retakes are done. He never got to do the proposal he really wanted, which was something private and intimate. He had to do the proposal the way the show told him to. That’s just one example. He now believes Kim and her camp never took him, his proposal, the wedding, or the marriage seriously…it was all for the show.”
“He’s not doing this to drag things on unnecessarily and, contrary to Laura Wasser’s suggestion, he’s not doing it for media attention. He rarely does interviews and has NEVER discussed the split publicly,” the source adds.
“Kim has talked about it everywhere from the red carpet to the Tonight Show to her Us Weekly interview entitled, ‘My Divorce Hell.’ She’s even cracked jokes about it toRyan Seacrest on his radio show when he asked about her love life, saying, ‘I think I’m still married.’”
The source continues, “In his heart, he [Kris] truly believes he gave it everything he can. But he believes he was married fraudulently. And he’s willing to wait as long as it takes to prove it.”
And while Kim may be oh so happy in love with Kanye West, Kris’ people believe underneath it all she’s threatened by what the trial will expose. “I think, right now, Kim is scared. She’s pretending everything is fine and she’s happy dating Kanye. But there’s a reason she spent three hours at her attorney’s house the other day. I think she’s freaking out about everything being revealed in public. If that happens, it will be a nightmare for her.”
Speaking of Kim’s relationship with Kanye – Kanye’s A-List friends continue to snub Kim! Most recently she was denied a ticket as Kanye’s date to the illustrious Met Ball. A photo of Kanye attending the event all by his lonesome is below!
Many wondered why Kanye appeared on the red carpet solo. Kim claimed she had a photoshoot for her Kardashian Kollection for Sears that prevented her from attending, Tweeting: “We need a snack break in between these back to back shoots today!”
But sources are claiming the real reason Kim wasn’t in attendance was that Vogue editor Anna Wintour refused to allow it! “Anna hates Kim,” a source tellsRadarOnline. “Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all.”
And even if Kim were willing to shell out for the $25,000 ticket (proceeds go to the museum) she still wouldn’t be allowed on the guest list! “The Met Gala is $25,000 a ticket, but Kim can’t even buy her way in, Anna Wintour does NOT want her there!” the source insists.
“Kim and her camp will deny that she wasn’t invited by saying that she had business in L.A., but that is a lie,” the source adds “She would of done anything to be there with all the A-listers.” And if Kim thinks dating Kanye is going to get her on the cover of Vogue anytime soon, she can apparently think again!
