Kris Humphries Not To Blame For Prolonged Divorce Proceedings …

Reportedly, the depositions scheduled for Kim and Kris’ divorce case WON’T be filmed…but that doesn’t mean the trial will be kept under wraps completely…!

It seems that Kris just might get his way with having TV cameras filming during the actual trial and Kimmy is NOT happy about it!

A source spilled:

“Both parties mutually agreed that it wasn’t necessary to have Kim and Kris’ deposition filmed. There will be a private stenographer present that will provide a transcript of the proceedings. There was concern about the depositions being filmed and then getting leaked to the media. To ensure that won’t happen everyone recognized and agreed to not have proceedings filmed. However, Kris’ lawyer, Lee Hutton has told Laura Wasser [Kim's lawyer] that they absolutely intend to ask that cameras be permitted in the courtroom when this divorce goes to trial.

The depositions will be happening within the next two weeks — Kim’s in El Lay and Kris’ in his home state of Minnesota.

As we reported previously, Kris is adamant about getting Kim to admit that their marriage was “fraudulent” and has been demanding an apology.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s estranged husband is adamant that her testimony is recorded on film, a move which she is said to be fighting.

Although the procedure is the norm in such cases, to be used as evidence if necessary, Kardashian’s lawyer Laura Wasser is afraid that the footage may emerge before their divorce trial gets to court.

A source told Radar Online: “Kris’s lawyer Lee Hutton has told Laura that he intends to videotape Kim’s deposition, which is common practice in divorce proceedings.

“This is done in case a witness becomes unavailable at trial, and the deposition can be used as evidence. Kardashian’s camp has vowed to vehemently fight having the deposition taped, they don’t think it’s necessary and are afraid that it could get leaked to the media, despite assurances from Kris’s lawyer all video evidence will be kept in a safe and won’t see the light of day until the trial.”…more

The NBA star wants Kimmy to return her 20-carat diamond engagement ring, since their marriage only lasted 72 days.

According to RadarOnline, Kim’s lawyer mentioned that there was a dispute over “jewelry” during the hearing last Friday, and sources say it was about the $2 million ring.

Kris wants the ring back because the marriage only lasted 72 days and he believes it was based on fraud and deceit. Remember, Kim filed for divorce. Kris paid for that ring, and he just can’t fathom why Kim would want to keep it. It’s not like she is ever going to wear it again. Kris realizes that with Kim it’s all about material objects and she truly treasures things over people in her life.

Apparently the couple was also given a $325,000 Ferrari as a wedding gift by a wealthy Malaysian businessman, which Kris hasn’t seen since!

Kris wants a divorce trial so that the truth can finally come out. Amongst other matters, he wants to know about the Ferrari that the couple got from a very wealthy Malaysian businessman that attended the wedding. was at Kim’s house when the car was delivered — it was given to both of them, but Kim has kept sole ownership and has used it extensively. She will be asked about it, under oath, on the stand at the trial.

Kim Kardashian really wants to have her cake and eat it too. The 31-year-old reality star ended her marriage to Kris Humphries without telling him after 72 days and is now dead set on getting a divorce from him — even though he wants an annulment — and is threatening him with hefty legal fines in court.

“That is absolutely ridiculous,” a source close to Kris told RadarOnline. “Kim and her lawyer are trying to bully Kris into a settlement and that isn’t going to happen.”

The insider explained, “The only way that this case won’t go to trial is if Kim publicly apologizes to Kris and admits that she only married him for television ratings. When Kim filed for divorce, she was in Los Angelesand he was in Minnesota. He was caught off guard when the news broke, as he had been working out at the local gym. Well, it turns out that she didn’t respect him enough, so he saw it as a publicity stunt. Now, he wants her to apologize to the world.

“He’s so easy to talk to,” the source has shared with Hollywood Life. “If she had just gone to him and opened up to him, they wouldn’t be here right now. It has recently been reported that Kris has been giving Kim a hard time arriving at a settlement.

Referring to the reports, a source in the know told Radar Online, “Kris is furious about reports that he is making Kim’s life hell. It’s absolutely ridiculous, and he is telling his friends that he won’t be bullied by her anymore.”

“Kris has told his lawyer to no longer attempt to reach a settlement with Kim. It’s a waste of time and he is ready to take this to trial, and he will,” the source added.

Kris is also furious that Kim is dragging his family into the divorce battle.

Kris Humphries’ legal team has spoken out to Life & Style Magazine, telling them: “While we are encouraged to see an apparent willingness by the other side to put big numbers out in an attempt to settle Mr. Humphries’ claims, we respect and will continue to observe the integrity of the legal process,” which means that Kris will not be paid off to shut up. They explained the reason also adding: “One thing is certain: Kris Humphries intends to set the record straight.”

In their legal statement issued to the magazine, Kris’ attorneys also stated: “Much effort and energy to misdirect the public’s perception of what transpired between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries has taken place over the past several months. This case will not be resolved in the court of public opinion amidst ridiculous and defamatory allegations and personal attacks directed against Kris Humphries.
