In the newest development in the couple’s divorce case, the NBA basketball player claims he has evidence one of the show’s most damaging scenes was staged to make him look insensitive and homophobic.

Kim enlisted her best friend and sycophantJonathan Cheban, a Hollywood hanger-on, as part of the plot, according to gossip siteradaronline.

In reality, the show’s producers asked Humphries in an email to stage the scene, a source told the site.In the scene, Humphries questions Cheban’s sexuality and asks whether he’s gay. Cheban played the scene to the hilt, feigning indignation, accusing Humphries of homophobia and even threatening a lawsuit. Whatcheese Cheban!

“Kris has written proof that he was instructed to ask Jonathan the very personal questions … It’s Kris’ contention that this only further provides proof that this relationship was far from real; he was set up by producers to ask the question, then made to look bad,” the source said.

“The entire scenario was staged, it was methodically planned out, just like the rest of their time together it seems,” the source said.

While Khloe and Lamar have been silent about the cancellation, Kim sent out a tweet yesterday that could hint she is upset with the cancellation. “It’s so frustrating watching someone close to you make all the wrong choices & decisions,” she wrote on Twitter yesterday. “But I guess u need to sit back & let them learn.” It sounds like Kim Kardashian is upset with Khloe for letting Lamar cancel the show, given he isn’t playing on a team anymore. And if he doesn’t have the NBA, why not make his new career a reality show? Isn’t that how the Kardashians are thinking?

The news comes from several industry sources, including Us Weekly and TMZ. Apparently, Khloe and Lamar are no longer interested in filming their show after two seasons on E!.

According to a source that spoke to TMZ, Odom wants to refocuson his hoops career. Indeed, his game could use some attention. The onetime Los Angeles Laker had a disastrous season after his trade to the Dallas Mavericks. Odom posted career-low numbers, averaging 6.6 points per game and just 4.2 rebounds. He is currently on the team’s inactive list.

Odom is likely to be a free agent next year. Odom is owed $8.2 million for the upcoming 2012-13 season. It is doubtful the Mavericks want to pay that. A clause will allow the team to buy him out for $2.4 million.

An insider told Us Weekly: Khloe and Lamar “have decided he should train all off season… and she’s exhausted from filming!”

So I really tip my hat to him from that perspective.”

The 31-year-old socialite has plans to run for mayor of Glendale, Calif., the busty beauty claims in an upcoming episode of “Khloe and Lamar.”

“I decided I’m going to run for the mayor of Glendale,” she tells her younger sister Khloe as they drive by former presidential candidate Ross Perot‘s museum in Dallas, adding a good friend of hers would run the campaign.

“You have to have a full residency in Glendale,” Kim tells Khloe. “For real, Noel is going to head my campaign but it’s going to be in like five years. So I have to buy a house there, you have to have residency there.”

Kim, who has Armenian roots, supposedly chose the Los Angeles County city of 190,000 because of its large Armenian population.

Reaction to her political aspirations on Twitter were mixed.

The point is: Who the hell cares about Kim Kardashian anymore? This woman is about as overpublicized as adult diaper commercials and is becoming increasingly as pleasant to even read about or watch. This month it’s Kanye West, but in 72 days who knows and who cares? All that matters is that Kimmie K will continue to search for the next big high in her career because the lifestyle of being a high maintenance socialite costs money. If it weren’t for rappers and athletes what would she have to fall back on in life? Her singing? Her acting? Her modeling? Her charming personality? Bah!

Without the pound of makeup, gobbed on over-the-top eyelashes, unibrow plucking/waxing and other assorted pricy maintenance, Kim, along with the rest of the Kardashian women, are just plain and ordinary and way too popular for being who and what they are.
